Would you like to help with school fundraising?

If so, we would love for you to come to informal meeting on Thursday 7th January straight after school until 4.30PM.  A creche will be provided, as will tea, coffee and biscuits if you want to get involved with raising money and helping with events that benefit your children.

Request for parents who drive to school

One-way York Road

We have been requested by our local Police Community Support Officers to remind parents who drop off and collect their children from our school of the importance of respecting our residential neighbours.  Please do not park across driveways  or obstruct access if you leave your vehicle on any of the local streets. Also, we respectfully ask that whenever possible, you follow the unofficial “one way” loop of York Road > Brent Lane > Sussex Road > East Hill > York Road. It makes getting home much easier if most people are travelling in the same direction around the tight streets!

Double, Double, Toil and Trouble!

Currently, our year 6 children are studying Shakespeare, and in particular they are focusing on the story of Macbeth. This morning, the pupils enjoyed a rather unusual performance of the play, where they turned out to be the stars of the show!

In school, the pupils will be discussing Cyberbullying, including how to deal with it, in their lessons.

For more information on Cyberbullying, which is bullying using technology such as mobile phones and the internet, you might like to read this guidance from the DCSF or visit the Anti-Bullying Alliance by clicking on their logo!
