Departure of Ferry: 14.00
Estimated arrival at school: 16.45 but PLEASE keep checking the website for frequent time updates.
I’ve had a decent response to the Twitter feed but still far from everyone is following! It only takes a few moments to set up and you don’t have to join in the interactivity if you’d rather just find out what we’re up to! Your account will need to be approved before you can see the feed. The fastest way to do this now is to send an email with your child’s name and class to rbarnes@york-road.kent.sch.uk along with your Twitter user name once you have one (join at www.twitter.com), before following the feed at www.twitter.com/yorkroadschool. N.B. you need to request to follow the feed; I cannot grant permission without you asking. To help you get started, take a look at this Newbie’s Guide to Twitter.
Finally, here is the Kit List in case you didn’t get one or have lost your copy. Please remember, NO electrical items (be they hair dryers, straighteners, Nintendo DSs, Sony PSPs, mobile phones, iPods or whatever) are permitted! Digital cameras ARE allowed but we will not take any responsibility for them if they are lost or damaged. If you are bringing a digital camera, it would be great if you could also bring the USB lead so I can put photos from the camera onto the website during the week!
