We are proud of our excellent transition process from Year 2 at St. Albans to Year 3 here at York Road. Together with our colleagues at St. Albans, we offer several initiatives to make the transition as smooth as possible for both new pupils and parents to the school.

Here are some of  the dates for those joining us in 2010:

• Tuesday, 8th June: Year 2 at York Road for Art Day.
• Tuesday, 22nd June: Year 2 at York Road to experience playtime.
• Friday, 9th July: Year 3 teachers from York Road will read stories to Year 2 children at St. Albans.

There will also be Swap day in the final term (date to be confirmed) when all pupils will spend the day with their teacher for September 2010.
